Abstract:
The article deals with the lingvosemiotical interpretation of the notional aspect of the professional metaphors. It is noted that professional metaphors are viewed as complex nominations, formed by the use of the lingvosemiotical elements included in the phenomenon under study, and affecting the formation of the professional sense of the metaphor.
