INTERPRETATIVE MECHANISM OF REPRESENTATING KNOWLEDGE OF PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY IN PHRASEOLOGY

Abstract: 
Synergetic character of cognitive mechanisms involved into the process of evaluative categorization of professional activity by means of phraseology is viewed within the integrative theory of knowledge representation in a language. Correlation between the aspects of handling knowledge in a language, the functions of a language, the levels of cognition of professional activity and the levels of evaluative categorization of professional activity by means of phraseology is proved through the analysis of the cognitive-discoursive features of the phraseological means of evaluating professional activity in the English and Russian linguocultures.
