APPELLATIVES AS A MEANS OF REPRESENTATION OF EVALUATIVE KNOWLEDGE

Abstract: 
In the article appellatives are considered as a means of representation of evaluative knowledge about man. This knowledge is represented in the form of a cognitive matrix EVALUATION of PERSON. Such contexts as ACTIVITY, INTELLECTUAL ABILITIES, CHARACTER and APPEARANCE are allocated within the matrix.
