Abstract:
The author considers the mechanism of remodeling metarepresentational constructions in spontaneous discourse when main clauses in conventional complex sentences with sentential complements become reduced. The author analyses the effect of discourse metarepresentation focusing on the discrimination between rational and emotional evaluation as reflected in the constructional peculiarities of remodeling.
