LINGUISTIC MECHANISMS OF WRITTEN SIGN CONCEPTUALIZATION IN A LANGUAGE WITH A MORPHOSYLLABIC TYPE OF WRITING

Author:  Dreyzis Yu. A.

Abstract
The paper presents an attempt to describe several modes of written sign conceptualization in languages with a morphosyllabic writing of the Chinese type (signs as pictures, signs as interlocking elements, signs as movable blocks). The features of the morphosyllabic system have a direct and indirect impact on the cognitive status of linguistic units.
