VERBAL NEOLOGISMS IN INFORMAL COMMUNICATION OF RUNET USERS: CORPUS, QUANTITATIVE AND CONCEPTUAL ANALYSIS

Author:  Petrukhina E. V., DePoy M. E.

Abstract:  The article discusses borrowed verbs found in informal communication of internet users and naming the use of browsers, computer programs, information exchange and image editing (guglit’ ‘to google’, lajkat’ ‘to like’, repostit’ ‘to repost’, skrinit’ ‘to take a screenshot’, fotoshopit’ ‘to photoshop’, etc). Semantics and frequency of derivatives formed from them in the General Internet Corpus and the Runet are investigated. A conceptual analysis of neologisms based on the data obtained is carried out.
