METAPHOR POWER AS A METHOD FOR DETECTING COGNITIVE SPEECH IMPACT

Abstract: 
The article considers the problem of quantitative analysis of cognitive-speech impact by identifying the level of metaphoric discourse. The author proposes an original method for calculating metaphoric indices, which make it possible to determine the density, intensity, functions and distribution of metaphors over blocks of text.
