Abstract:
The study integrates cognitive and multimodal approaches to investigate the discourse of drama identified as a polysemiotic discursive space and “a special format of knowledge”. Verbal and non-verbal modalities realized in the discourse of drama are investigated both qualitatively and quantitatively. The author elaborates the diagraph method and the cognitive cross-modal scenarios approach accompanied by statistical procedures.
