CONSTRUCTION OF THE CAUSATION OF OBJECT PROPERTIES DECREASE IN ENGLISH

Abstract:  The article discusses the formats for constructing the causation of decreasing object properties - primary and secondary. In the primary format, prototypical and non-prototypic causation are distinguished, in the secondary format, the metonymic, metaphorical and metaphtonymic models are identified that underlie the formation of evaluative knowledge. The grammatical and lexical causatives are defined as linguistic mechanisms.
