Abstract:
The present research is devoted to the study of the features of the conceptualization of the plant world in a language, namely, the names of herbs, and the identification of the formats of knowledge behind both a separate phytonym and a generalizing unit. German phytonyms taken from dictionaries and the electronic journal Bioterra were analyzed.
