One of the most popular paradigms in foreign pragma-discursive cognitive science, evoking both pride and prejudice in various scientific interpretations, is the Theory of Relevance, originated in the works by D. Sperber and D. Wilson more than 30 years ago (1986/1995). The subject of this study is the possibilities of its heuristics development and innovation in sociolinguistic cognitive studies.
