Abstract:  The article deals with language personality intentions realized by word order modifications in H. Spencer’s texts. The modifications correspond to the author’s theoretical statements and project them. The reasons of inversion usage are the following: focusing, logical reasoning and coherence, meaningful content stratification, routine mental activity modeling, easy and effective perception and comprehension.
