Abstract: 
This work shows cognition to be genetically determined and manifested through language; it may be inherited and influenced by hormones and lifestyle. Health, nutrition and education are important factors for the development of cognitive reserve. The outlined interdisciplinary material may be directly used by HR-specialists and those whose profession concerns people and their intellectual capacity.
