Abstract: The article focuses on the observations made while the procedure of emotional assessment of texts in Russian taken from the social network VKontakte and assessed by 2000 informants. The analysis showed the presence of four strategies of emotion in text assessment: one top strategy, two tops strategy, radical strategy and balanced strategy. We argue that such strategies have cognitive nature, and their choice is deeply rooted in properties and features of informant individual emotional intellect.
