Abstract:  The evaluative component of the image-concept RUSSIA in the transitional periods for our state in the 20th - 21st centuries is considered. The relevance of the study is due to information war, where language is used as the main weapon against other states. The main theoretical premises are works on cognitive linguistics, imagology and cultural linguistics.
