MECHANISMS AND DYNAMICS OF INDIRECT NOMINATION OF SPEECH AFFECT IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract:  The article analyzes semantics of lexical units representing speech affect, using as the material the opposite synonymic sets that mean praise / criticism. We considered the questions of what are the boundaries of the expansion of the synonymic set, what are the mechanisms and capabilities of conceptualizing speech affect by indirect nomination.
