Abstract
The article deals with cognitive-linguistic mechanisms of epistemic provocation and epistemic vigilance as characteristic of ‘post-truth’ discourse. The mechanisms are based on discrimination between intuitive and counter-intuitive concepts as a result of interpretative cognitive processes.
