Abstract
The article deals with the epistemological potential and content of rather recent cognitive science term of languaging, which hasn’t yet found its terminological equivalent in Russian. The analysis of term occurrences in modern cognitive works allows us to diagnose the coming change of key metaphor for language conceptualization - the latter is often considered as mediator for two matter-energy-information flows such as communication and cognition helping them to integrate each other.
