CONCEPTUALISATION OF ANXIETY IN SOVIET PRE-WAR LITERATURE

Author:  Yakovenko Ye.B.

Abstract:  The paper focuses on the particularities of the representation of the concept ANXIETY in Soviet pre-war literature. Basing mainly on the works by A.P. Gaidar, we claim that the specificity of the verbalization of the concept in question in the texts analyzed is accounted for by a number of objective and subjective factors such as political situation in the USSR and abroad before World War II, presentiment of a war, repressions and - last but not least - Gaidar’s personal features and his experience.
