DAILY LIFE AS THE SOURCE OF CONCEPTUAL WORLDVIEW

Abstract:  The paper deals with formation of conceptual reflection of the world by means of phraseology. Utmost attention is paid to the way daily routine is reflected in Russian and German figurative units (primarily idioms). The article aims at defining the peculiarities and specificity of everyday practical objects that are conceptualized in idioms. Models of image formation are proposed on the grounds of the image system of language as defined in Veronika Teliya’s later works.
