DYNAMICS OF PAMIR PHRASEOLOGY: THE CASE OF UNITS RELATED TO FUNERAL RITES

Abstract: 
The article focuses on a fragment of phraseology reflecting the national and cultural specificity of perceptions and rituals of the traditional culture of speakers of the Pamir languages and the distinctiveness of their phraseological picture of the world. It examines the normative, evaluative, figuratively expressive, emotive, and stylistic functions of the particular phraseological units.
