THREE WAYS OF CONCEIVING THE LINGUISTIC REALITY IN THE LIGHT OF THE IDEAL OF INTEGRAL KNOWLEDGE (SOURCES AND LIMITS OF INTEGRATIVITY)

Author:  Postovalova V.I.

Abstract:  The paper deals with epistemological analysis of integrative processes in the humanitarian knowledge. It is substantiated that the universal principle of integrity in culture manifests itself in the orientation towards integrativity. Three approaches to the language study are discussed (immanent-semiological, anthropological, and transcendent-religious). These approaches are regarded as the main stages of achieving an integral understanding of the linguistic reality.
