Abstract:  This paper seeks to discuss the eternal, much-discussed question of both linguistics and philosophy on the relationship of language and thinking, on the possibility of expressing thought by means of word. Special attention is paid to the inevitable shift or complication in the process of speech production caused by the national sociocultural conception of the thing meant.
