Abstract:  The article studies precedent verbs as personal characteristics of a person within the framework of evaluative categorization. Precedent verbs are a unique linguistic phenomenon formed by affixation or conversion. The verbs under study actualize knowledge about personal characteristics, demeanor, professional skills of a person.
