Abstract
The author attempts the partial reconstruction of the inner man in Joseph Brodsky’s poetry via looking into peculiarities of representation of concepts UM, MOZG, SERDZE as literary concepts and analyzes the conceptual metaphors which underlie the genuine metaphors of the inner man.
